STRENGTH
STEELCO BELTING are reinforced with superior quality steel cord and thus give a belt with stronger tension membrane up to a maximum rating of 5400 newton/mm

LOW ELONGATION
The steel cord belt is basically a low elongation belt compared to a nylon belt. The low elongation is the basic property of steel cord related to its elastic modulus and the amount of twist given to a single cord. The low elongation in the steel cord belt helps designer to make system with shorter take-up length. The belt growth is in the operation is also practically nil and thus all operational hazards are therefore avoided.

RESISTANCE TO EDGE WEAR
Cut edge construction means that All Fabric ply across the width of belt. Fabric reinforced edges are much tougher than moulded edges produced by homogeneous rubber. NRC belting is normally supplied in cut edge construction unless specified.

HIGH RIP AND TEAR RESISTANCE

Heavy fabric ”weft” The strength and the flexibility of the steel cord impart a very good impact resistance to the steel cord belt. The stronger inner core compound also help to resist high impact on application.

RESISTANCE TO DELAMINATION

The unique hard core bonding with the steel cord and bonder compound gives the belt with a practically non delaminated covers.

TROUGHABILITY
Because of the unique nature of flexibility of the steel cord, the belt takes deep troughing even for higher rating of belting.
